I have a love hate relationship with bread. There’s nothing better than fresh warm bread with a generous smothering of butter over it, toasted cheese sandwiches with soup or a BLT on the weekend. But I don’t love the way it makes my insides feel. You know the bread bloat I’m talking about?
So it’s always an exciting discovery when I come across a really great alternative to bread. I picked up a box of The Protein Bread co’s Protein Bread Mix recently and was wrapped with it!
Made from lupin flour, whey protein, golden flax meal, pea protein, linseeds, almond meal, baking powder, chia seeds and cinnamon this bread was an absolute winner.
